I became a fan of Tiny Houses in 2015 through watching tiny House shows on T.V. I could not believe how fast I became a loyal follower of the following shows. Back then I was watching:
- Tiny House Nation on FYI
- Tiny House Hunters on HGTV
- Tiny Paradise on HGTV
- Tiny House Big Living
- and Tiny Luxury on HGTV
One of my favorite episodes was in Season 1 Episode 6 on FYI. This episode introduced Jewel Pearson to all the Tiny House fans. At that time, I believe that she was the first African American woman who designed her Tiny House build. Ever since that episode I have been following Jewel Pearson intermittently for almost 10 years.
Throughout that time period, she has advanced significantly by sharing experiences from her Tiny House journey, teaching others how they can living with less in order to gain more, and teaching others about the process of having a Tiny House built.
Jewel does have an online presence and, she goes by the moniker Ms. Bohemian Soul, which I think is a fitting description of her.
I have included the video above at the beginning of this post so you can see and experience the live chat Stephanie Perry had with Jewel Pearson. I love the respect, kindness, and mannerism these ladies had for one another. It was quite refreshing to see. They are the real deal. I also found the chat to be quite informative and entertaining at the same time. I enjoyed it. I hope you will too.
